[SOLVED] GPU High temperatue (RTX 2080)

Hi i have a problem with my Zotac RTX 2080. The idle temp is about 44-50 C, but in-game it hits 87-90 C no matter what game I'm playing. Cod, BF, Minecraft, anything. I have 6 case fans installed. 3 Intake (bottom, front), and 3 blowing (top, back). (Lüfter ARCTIC 14014025 F14 PWM PST) I also have a Noctua NH D15 installed on my cpu, but I'm not sure if that does anything to the GPU temp. Room temp is about 25-30 C. Please help.

Are you using manual fan control 25% at all the time? change it to auto.

Normal and perfectly fine when your fans aren't running. The default fan curve on some of these cards has the fans off until 60-65C - again, totally fine.

Which Zotac model is it?

Are you sure you didn't install those case fans backwards?

Zotacs have always ran a bit hot havent they? I remember that being an issue with them and my 580GTX I used to have was basically a space heater.

as a test take the side panel off your case, if the card cools down then you need to improve the airflow in the case.
