GPU not detecting

Hi guys,

I just bought a new GPU Sapphire 6770..but my computer is not detecting it i had a 8600gt before this..it was working fine...

My PSU had no connector for the card so i bought a new one just for the card..My old PSU is still there powering my MB and CPU and all other stuff and i'm using the new PSU just for the card (6pin PCI power connector connected with the PSU)..So the card is working i think as the fan of the card is working.. but My cpu is not detecting it...if i connect my Display cable to the card...the screen become blank..(no signal) but if i connect it with my motherboard display port it detects it..So it means my MoBO is not detecting my GPU right..??

You must make sure the BIOS is set to use the GPU, not the integrated card.

Remove the drivers for the NVidia Card.

Sorry guys it was my fault...the other PSU was not on.. i had to use a paperclip to power on the PSU...Sorry forgot about such a silly thing
