Hello,

I recently bought the Acer XB241H Predator. I'm noticing that for some reason, the refresh rate seem to dip to ~70 at times while a game will be running at a stable 130fps. It is currently connected with the stock DisplayPort cable that came with the monitor, with g-sync enabled. Is this a normal occurrence?

UPDATE:
I contacted Acer support and they are taking the monitor back to be repaired. Various other fixes as well as a high quality DisplayPort 1.4 cable did not fix issue. I will close question depending on results from repair.

Impossible. Once you set the refresh rate thats what it is

I would assume so, however I have the refresh rate displayed to my monitor directly through the monitor settings and I can clearly see it happening. When I turn g-sync off, I can no longer see the refresh rate as it goes blank so I am unsure if that is affecting anything, but I wouldn't imagine that it would.
