[SOLVED] Hexagonal standoff screw for CPU cooler stuck in motherboard

The hexagonal standoff screw I encircled below is stuck in my motherboard (Tomahawk b450). When I try to turn the screw with a screwdriver it just keeps turning, no matter what direction I try to turn. Here's the screw:

The backplate looks like this:

How do I get this screw out of my motherboard?

Since it is hexagonal, I would gently grasp it with a needle nose pliers (or small OR clamp like a mosquito) and slowly turn it counterclockwise. If it is particularly troublesome I would remove the rest of the HSF to get more space to work on it, assuming you can get it off.

If the standoff moves with the screw just hold the standoff with the needle nose pliers and turn the screw counterclockwise.

Take those clips off - on mounting backplate. There's a nut, where standoff is crewed in.
Nut probably is loose and it turning along with standoff.

How do I get those off? I tried it earlier but I was afraid of breaking it.

With flat screwdriver. Slightly lift the part, that connects to backplate and slide clip off.

How do I get those off? I tried it earlier but I was afraid of breaking it.

This was the case, the only solution was to break it off, I tried holding it but it didnt help much. luckily I have another backplate.
