Question How do I download bought movies on the playstore to my computer

I purchased a few movies awhile back on the play store, when Google was giving out coupons. I would like to download these movies and put them in my personal collection, but how do I do that? I've search online about this, but so far only mobile users can download the movies for later use. I own these movies, so I should be able to download them to my hard drive. How do I download my purchased movies from the play store/YouTube?

the DRM tied to your purchase means you cannot do this. unless the purchase included "digital download" which is still tied to online verification, the purchase is tied to the DRM and the online verification/mobile app/other verification. I was gifted a blu-ray of the Alien 35th anniversary special edition and I have the blu-ray for watching offline but I can watch it anytime on amazon, google play, or youtube but have yet to find a way to get the actual media file for my own use.

What you're buying from the Playstore is "Movie ticket" - you'r given the right to see the movie. You were not given the VHS / DVD.

You've probably noticed that there are different prices to "rent" and "own".
