i5-4670k
GTX 1070
16GB DDR3 ram

I'm planning on getting the following products and keeping the GPU;

I will be playing at 1080p and will upgrade my 60Hz monitor in the near future to a 144hz 1080p (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B075KFPJ5C/?coliid=I378WLIQT2HEC8&colid=2A7UNZRIL99RD&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it).

I'm just wondering about the compatibility of these products. I know that I'll need a BIOS update for that motherboard but I will have to learn how to do that. Also, how important is RAM speed? I heard it's important for ryzen but can't be bothered to learn about latency, timings etc. Too complicated xD. So would 3200 ram be good w/o messing with stuff? I heard any lower seriously impacts ryzen performance.

Thanks!

A 3600x (personally I'd just get a 3600) on a good B450 motherboard with your GTX 1070 and 16 GB 3200 MHZ RAM kit will work well for 1080p 60 or 75 Hz gaming but 144 Hz (@ 144 fps) will be pushing it.
It probably won't get 144 fps in current games unless you drop down to High or even Medium settings depending one the game.

PS
You didn't list the parts you will be buying.
You should use this site to do that:

Then post the link from that site here.

Ok added a pc part picker link.

As for the monitor, I mainly want to get over 60 hz but don't want to be limited by just 75hz. Games like R6 Siege should be doable over 75 hz for example and that's my main game. Might as well get a high refresh rate for those games where I can get 100+ fps and also provide a bit of future proofing. I'm also currently using a 9 year old 21.5", TN panel display so having a bigger, higher quality VA panel with even just 10-20 more fps in most games is a nice upgrade. I can also leave my old screen at my parents so I don't having to bring my old one back and forth when I visit.
