So I'm new to Overclocking. I'm a pro player in Overwatch and I want to stream without getting too much FPS drop. I want to overclock my PC to help with that. I am currently running 4.8GHZ on 1.270 voltage. I want to make this better or more optimized and was wondering if anybody can help.

Specs:
  • i7-8700k
  • ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-H
  • 3000MHz DDR4 Ram
  • 850W Corsair
  • GTX 1080
  • Very good cooling with watercooler + 6 corsair fans

Its not the same board but the bios should be close to figure out what you need to change in order to get a good OC.

Jump to the 5min mark and it start to show how to set the bios up.

First thing i would do is delid and put some liquid metal on it. I used the Rockit delid tool and installed their copper IHS. Runing solid 5.1Ghz @ 1.360V all day long with a max temp of mid 60's with a air cooler, it drops to lower 60's upper 50's when im just gaming.
