Suppose you have 2x 3200 & 2x 2400 Sticks.
This is running quadchannel and in general @ 2400mhz since the 2 Sticks are the lowest freq. correct?
If you want to run at 3200mhz you'd need to disable/remove the lower frequency sticks correct?
If that is the case, is it possible to utilize all sticks in Windows when doing certain tasks and disable the sticks in windows when playing games?
What I want to avoid doing, is having to manually remove the sticks physically or having to reboot the system into UEFI just to disable lower freq sticks because I want to play game XYZ.
TL;DR: Is it somehow possible, to disable RAM Modules inside of an OS or at least utilize certain sticks when playing games
Update: Specs: ryzen 5 1600, 2060, 2x 2400MHz & 2x 3200MHZ.
