not much needed if you have good airflow inside your chassis ... but why buying a K processor if you don't want to overclock it . .
Apparently, even if you don't OC them, the Ks benchmark better than non-Ks... also, some MOBOs will automatically OC to a small degree if you set them to "performance"/"gaming" mode... From what I've read online... (I've been wrong before, and will probably be wrong again... a lot.)
no man . . K processors are made for overclocking and the difference you are mentioning is just because K processor have multipliers to work on . . if not overclocking so K processors are not recommended . .
