I recently added memory to my motherboard. I had 2 gb previously and now 4 gb. Problem is that after adding memory my computer just freezes time to time. Motherboard (Asus m3a) manual states that those memory modules have to be identical. So I took note of my memory type (KVR800D2N6/2G) and bought a memory with that same type. The only difference is that older memory module is little larger (physically) and that the manufacturing date is different of course (its 1 and a half year older). Is that difference reason for the freezing issue?
I am not going to spend any more money for memory modules. If I can't fix this I probably just have to buy a new ddr3 motherboard, memory is then also cheaper..
