Hello! I have unusual problem with GPU, caused by PSU(that’s what i think). So the machine i use is laptop ASUS Tuf Gaming A15(2020) with fabric 150W charger for my model/FA506II/. I found in internet that close specification also use 180W charger. My problem with GPU is random utilization from 0% to 100% like 4-5 times in 1s interval and games crashes- screen freezes, after 5 seconds the sound continues but screen is frozen. Task manager shows 0% utilization after these spikes.
My real question is- is there a chance the 150W is low for this GPU and if i change it with 180W will it be dangerous for the system.
This problem started of nowhere, i mean i keep the temps low- from 45 to 60 celsius(rare above 60).
I play always on low-medium preset and capped the fps around 70-110 so i can expand the lifetime.(and for genre of games i play-esports).

I need to note that i had problems with GPU before with error 43, came from nowhere and gone by itself. VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE and something else i do not remember.

I have already underclock the chip and memory clocks by -100 Mhz.

I am open for any criticism and advices! :)

Specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 4600h 6C/12
Nvidia GTX 1650 Ti GDDR6 4GB
Mobo- idk, cannot find it anywhere
SSD- Samsung MZVLB512HAJQ-000L7(SECOND HAND! May cause any problems with Nvidia drivers and etc.)
RAM- 64(32x2) Crucial

most likely it´s a problem with the gpu chip, nonetheless you can try more powerful charger if the voltage is the same as your 150W one and fits with the connection

to have a look what the problem could be:
run userbenchmark.com and post the http link of your result, e.g. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/28977730

Reset the BIOS by jumper clrCMOS or JBAT or similar (eventually you will have to set the boot priority correctly after that)

check windows integrity
open the command prompt as administrator and type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

clean boot

check the memory by running memtest.org usb autoinstaller (bootable USB flash drive)

run the RAM @2133MHz to check if it happens then too

check the hard drive for errors with its manufacturer´s tool and if available, update the firmware

use ddu uninstaller and reinstall the latest graphics driver

Yes. power supplies/converters do loose some functionality over time. there's a minimum power required but not maximum. That may not be the cause of your problem though, GPU may be set over factory setting caused by driver or some overclock feature.

Wow! Thanks for quick replying. I will try everything and will feedback here ASAP.
To note the 180W is 19.5V 9.23A
150W is 20.0V 7.5A
Is it a problem the difference on volts and amps like this?(sry for this question i am far away from hardware specifications)
