Is my GPU dying or something? Or is this some sort of driver issue? I updated my Nvidia drivers a while back then I noticed this started happening, but I updated it again a few days ago using clean installation(on the nvidia wizard, not DDU). The first 2 pictures were the first ones that started happening a while back, after I updated my drivers again, the last 3 screenshots started happening. I also don't use HDR on my monitor, windows, and in-game. My monitor is capable, but I don't use it. I'm using an Aorus RTX 3080, it's fairly new just about over a year or so I think.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Definitely something wrong! Try DDU.

What PSU?
Do you think my GPU could be dying? Like it's starting to show graphical artifacting and such? I ran furmark this afternoon and it seemed to be doing fine. It could still finish a benchmark with no openGL errors. But if that's related to the issues I'm having or not, I cannot say.

How old is PSU?

Definitely could be GPU VRAM going bad.
Pretty new, bought together with the GPU.(It has a bit of a coil whine) Anyway to test if it is indeed the GPU or the Driver or something else? I just read the forum on Call of Duty, it seems some people are also reporting the issue, they said that the game is just indeed buggy, but that doesn't explain why it also happened on Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Like the exact same super blindingly bright lights.

I can say that MW2 runs phenomenal on my set-up. It's actually more stable than the PS5 version.

try the game with only os generic driver and to see if artefact still on after you could use occt to stress test psu and hwinfo to read voltages fan speed and temp .
Could you clarify what you mean by "os generic driver"? Do you mean I should uninstall the gpu driver with DDU and run the game without installing a new nvidia driver?

Update on the issue, it seems my graphics card is okay.. I think. I rolled back the driver to the one from December, 527.xx can't remember the exact version no., no graphical issues so far from the couple of hours I played yesterday, I'll play some more later and see if glitches appear.

For now, it seems okay. I also deleted the shaders from the shadercache from the game and from temp folder in C. Someone on the steam forum also suggested turning off texture streaming, but I'll try turning it back on later since I had that on from the beginning.
