[SOLVED] Looking for a display

Hello,

I am currently in the market for a new monitor but after doing some research, it is proving more difficult than anticipated.

Preferably I would like a monitor with the following features:
I have an Asus Nvidia RTX 2070 super graphics card so one that is g-sync compatible
100-144hz
HDR
2K
VA panel
and lastly
24-27 inches

Does anyone know if something like this exists? I'm not too interested in price as of yet as I'm more looking for something that suits my needs. I'm mostly using it for gaming but more RPG, story based games rather than FPS's - so if you know any monitor that is suited for that, that would be great to hear too.

The only monitor that I can find that is 24-27 inches diagonally, has 144Hz and HDR on a VA panel is this one: https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16824160382

Problem is, it's 1440p (which should be fine with your graphics card) and it's curved. There's not many monitors that have 144Hz and HDR on a VA panel. There's no good website that I can find that lets you compare specifications. Possibly the best English website I can find: https://www.productchart.com/monitors/

That website will actually help a lot. I was trying to find somewhere I could choose all the specifications and look at them.

Is there much difference between an IPS and a VA panel? I read that an IPS is great for colour performance but not so great for response time nor contrast. Whereas a VA panel is pretty good at colour performance and contrast but again isn't the best panel for response time. Is there enough difference between the panels to be noticebale? I do want to stay away from a TN panel as I'd rather have a middle ground than a panel that has super fast response time.

Completely understandable. I never really looked at what panel my monitor has when purchasing, something which I have kind of regretted.

I'm not a professional, but yeah, I know that TN is good at high refreshrates, IPS is better at colors and viewing angles, but never really looked into what VA does. There's quite a couple VA variations that you'll see on that website. I'm really only good at filtering specifications till you get what you want, which in this case is practically impossible, haha.

I bet you'll find a decent monitor on the website you've already visited now.
