Yikes - my bad. I wasn't paying attention - thanks for pointing out my mistake. So my list of metals is reduced to zinc (the only one that I am aware of that has any antiviral properties at all - but perhaps there are others).

It says it's patented but I don't see any reference of MacPadd or David Free in both of those database. Anybody could point out the supposedly patent.

I would be interested in seeing the Traffic report for MacPadd.com during the past 72 hours. I can only imagine many other people just like i did took a quick visit over to macpadd.com after reading the first article this morning.

I would be willing to bet that he has seen a ten fold increase in traffic in his website since this morning. Too bad for him it is all traffic just to make fun of his site instead of looking to buy! haha......

I use an entry level optical mouse from Logitech on my wooden desk - 95% problem free. Those who want accuracy at all times (my mouse does rarely wandrr around because of the wood's irregularities - or it's just dust) or have a desk made out of glass or some other tricky material do need a mouse pad.

I wonder what he exactly hopes to accomplish by posting that on his website. Not only will people who go to Tom's Hardware not buy anything from him, but now any potential customer that has never been to or heard of Tom's Hardware are going to check out this site and see this and not buy anything from him. This guy seems to be a pro at screwing things up for himself. Oh well couldn't have happened to a better person.
