[citation][nom]meek48[/nom]the Microsoft Information team to be exact. and the fact that personal information has been published of his home address and phone number - then it ultimately proves that he has been called cause any idiot can now call the home number. like you guys. calling the home number isntead of a business number[/citation]

Do you not know how to read? Or is PayPal just your enemy? If you'll look at PayPal AND the article posted, there is no personal attacks and he admits to making multiple calls to the NUMBER GIVEN TO HIM BY THE VENDOR. He did not seek this number. When He disputed in PayPal, this was the number that initially called him. After continuous escalation of his ticket, PayPal contacts, and so forth, Tuan again attempted to receive his tracking number. All he needed is a tracking number. Seriously. I get them from EVERY SINGLE VENDOR when they send my product, US Mail, Canada Mail, UPS or FedEx. they all provide them. He just wants confirmation of his shipment. If you read his article, it's for good reason too. He didn't receive word about it's status. I'd freak out to. ANd then when you treated him the way you did? Nice job bro. Nice freakin' job.

This article was your fault, Mr. Meek, or Free, whomever you are. You, your company, and your support has failed a customer. It just happened to be the wrong customer to fail. Because he's on the internet. Where you work. And he's got a LOT of sway and research/information muscle you just don't seem to understand.

Good luck with trying to get your business out of "Failure" status with the BBB, good luck getting your product's bad name out of every Tom's Hardware user, and sorry you have such a short temper.

Tom's Hardware OUT.

[citation][nom]bill gates is your daddy[/nom]??? Where was this at?[/citation]

he meant one of the posters who looked up register info from macpadd.com....

If you guys happens to take this to court. Most of the things said here
wont matter to the Judge, except for one thing,.. A thing that will either
one of you will gonna go paying huge fine or will be free of wrong doings
and any false accusations. And that makes the judge go decide and weigh
what is most accountable by law.
What is that "Most accountable by law" in this Case???

WHERE IS THE GOD DAMN TRACKING NUMBER?..

IMO, that tracking number will be Mr. Free's light in all these madness.
That is why Tom's Hardware is asking for it to prove that Mr. Free is a
scammer or not.

I also suggest that Tom's hardware ask these questions or post it here
over and over to eliminate any diverting tactics like the one is happening
on some of the posts here.

This also increases the pressure to the Topic (making it a sticky one)

[citation][nom]icepick314[/nom]he meant one of the posters who looked up register info from macpadd.com....[/citation]

Well that's just stupidity then. Why would someone register a domain with their public info listed? That's asking for problems seeing how that is public record and open to farming.

Spend an extra buck and register private.

another thing...i was watching all those reviews on Youtube...

is it me or every single one of the mousepad have off-centered anti-slip backing?

i'll bet you can make better and bigger "Macpadd" with a piece of anodized aluminum sheet and plastic backing yourself...

Hey there Mr. Fre... I mean meek48,

Are you really defending this?

WHY NO TRACKING NUMBER SUPPLIED?!?

@ hillarymakesmercy:
Tracking number equals shipment
failure to provide a tracking number pretty much means it was not shipped.

[citation][nom]icepick314[/nom]...a piece of anodized aluminum sheet and plastic backing...[/citation]

I have a feeling that this is exactly what david free is doing himself. That is why it takes him so long to ship. He has to rummage through the junkyard looking for aluminum to cut into sheets and glue shelving liner to the bottom of it. And let’s not forget he sprays it down with Lysol before shipping…if he ships it.

[citation][nom]meek48[/nom]Tuan's MacPadd IS in the mail. He's basically getting a free MacPadd, but he doesn't care.[/citation]

it's amazing that he got a "free" Macpadd on October 3rd....WAAAY before the order was placed....

so what IS the actual tracking number for this "free" Macpadd?

[citation][nom]meek48[/nom]actually this isn't david free. email me at meeka84@gmail.com[/citation]

It's not? Wow, then how did you get the original email sent from Tuan to David Free? You know the one you posted in this thread which was sent to drfree@sympatico.ca.

You should spend more time gluing anti-skid pads on the aluminum and less time posting...your customers (as few as they may be) would appreciate getting their orders in a timely fashion.

[citation][nom]meek48[/nom]Tuan's MacPadd IS in the mail.[/citation]

Why wasn't the original one shipped when it was ordered?
Why is one being shipped now only after you have received bad press?
Why is this not the first time that macpadd failed to ship a product when ordered?

ps: I had to mention this. In your list of "reviews" you listed this -

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=macpadd -- we are in the urban dictionary!

Of course you are listed there...you added it yourself asshat.

I suggest everyone go make some edits to it.

There is no need to continue with this. We as Toms Readers obviously don't plan on buying anything from him, so lets just leave at that. Getting into an internet pissing match is pointless.

Lets get back on track here and leave Free/Meek to continue his business as he sees fit, he just wont be getting any of our business.

/ARGUING

[citation][nom]meek48[/nom]Tuan also never paid for tracking either.[/citation]

so why provide tracking number for a package that was sent 20 days prior to the order?

[citation][nom]meek48[/nom]Tuan was too cheap to pay the extra $3.50 for tracking. This is after he initially demanded a free unit for review. This isn't how you run a review site. They're looking for handouts.[/citation]

PAY FOR TRACKING??? Do you want me to pay for undercoating in a new car as well? Who the hell do you use to ship your products? Two Guys and a Car Shipping?

For sure Mr. Free is refreshing this page every single minute and probably
posting some diverting tactics which if you guys would look at some posts
He just wasted a lot of his time and not getting the results he wanted.

If Mr. Free is reading this, Hey Dude no offense in anyway, but i strongly
suggest you answer Tom's hardware's question.
Where is the Tracking Number??? This is your only key to free your
self and your company from any wrong doings and for any fraudulent service
they've accused you of. That tracking number will prove that you deliver
the Pad that Nguyen ordered and if you can show to them the verified orig
tracking number THEN, you have ALL the right in this world to sue Tom's
hardware for Defamation (libel). And that is VERY VERY ACCOUNTABLE BY LAW.
You even can sue them for 100 million dollars (the amount is up to you
dude depending on the loss or damage that you and your company got from
these issues) and you have the evidences you need posted here. But if,
you're not really standing up for the truth, then think and analyze the
situation you're currently into and face the reality and make necessary
decisions on how you can apologize to the people that you've caused or
done wrong doings. In that way your Bad Karma is minimized but if you
continue to do your wrong doings well, you'll just got your self a
terrible head ache and a bankrupt company and more bad karma that will last for years.

[citation][nom]meek48[/nom]Its not being shipped after bad press. Fact is... it was shipped. period. that's what the issue is.[/citation]

No...fact is his invoice shows a date of 10/23/2009
Your "tracking number" (that he did not pay for) shows a date of 10/03/2009

Explain

[citation][nom]meek48[/nom]people fail to realize as well - tuan's email claims that it tracks to nothing, when in fact it does track.explain that?[/citation]

i understand that the tracking number CX245270096CA in fact DOES track SOMETHING but what does it track?

and why is it dated 2009/03/10 (maybe it's March 10, 2009? i think in Canada, the date goes first then the month)?

the shipping date is dated full 20 days before the order was placed (or maybe 7 months???)....

you have yet to explain this any at all....

From his website under logistics.

"NORTH AMERICA
MacPadd processes its orders within 37 business days will often arrive at the homes and offices for our US and Canadian customers within 4 to 6 days of the processing of your order. The cost to mail MacPadd to our US customers is approximately $9.00 (USD) and $3.00 (CDN) (plus handling) within Canada."

Anybody else catch the "processes its orders within 37 business days"...

well...yeah....

the local hardware store needs 5 or more orders to cut the aluminum and laser engrave....

it takes at least 20 days to get the minimum order to get the work started...

if you couldn't get the minimum order and wasn't able to make the mousepads, then send out tracking number from a month before so you can say it was shipped out....you can delay for few more days and HOPE you can fill out the order to get the pads made....

[citation](please look at the time the email was sent. 1.30am)[/citation]

Yea? That's 1:30 your time. Since you live in Simcoe, Ontario that puts Tuan three hours before you. So, sending you an e-mail at 11:30 isn't exactly pestering you at all hours of the night.

[citation][nom]meek48[/nom]http://www.canadapost.ca//cpotools [...] &x=58&y=12 Hey Tuan? I've heard of Yellow journalism before but you take the cake. How come it's listed as accepted at the post office?[/citation]

Really now? It shipped out on the 3rd of October when I ordered it on the 23rd?

Wow. That's amazing!

Reaad more carefully next time please. I thought I was already detailed in my report, but evidently, not enough!

/ Tuan
