Hi, could someone let me know what any of this means and what I should do from here. I've tested both sticks together and I got 340 errors but then when testing one stick I got over 65000. I'm going to test the other when this pass is done just to see if it is one stick but I'm worried the issue could be something else. Both the mobo and ram are less than a month old and bought brand new.
Cheers
Specs: x570 tomahawk
Patriot steel viper 4000mhz 16gb
Ryzen 3600xt 6 core

It means you need to return your ram because it is faulty

So I got errors on one of the sticks and have since removed it and I'm down to a single 8 stick. Is it normal for my whole pc to be very slow and idle about 20 degrees hotter? I'm yet to reinstall windows, I'm just putting it on a USB now but I'm unsure if that will make a difference anyway.

8 gb is not much especially if you are use windows 10 , i think you will struggle to use games as well.

I recomend that you return both ram sticks to the seller and point out that 1 replacement is no use because when using more than 1 stick they have to be matched pairs.

I'm within my 30 days of purchase so I'm hoping they'll just replace the one stick and I wont have to send both back so I'm not without a pc. I just wasn't expecting it to be THIS slow. Its been years since I've had an 8gb pc but even windows can run off it, most laptops have 8.
