[SOLVED] Mouse and Keyboard freezing, unable to be used.

Hi, first off I put this in "components" because I believe this is a USB or a power management issue.

Only recently, my mouse and keyboard will begin to freeze, unable to be used until the computer is manually reset.

The PC will still function normally. When I'm in a game, the screen and everything on it will still work. However I'm either unable to move and look around, or stuck in the last animation I was in when it froze (usually stuck walking in one direction).

The freeze happens no matter what i do, gaming or just browsing the web. It seems to be very inconsistent. happening anywhere from 5 mins from startup, to maybe an hour.

Keyboard: HP k120
Mouse: Gamdias Ourea
(both don't have dedicated drivers available, am using stock Microsoft drivers)

OS: Windows 10 x64 (fully updated)
GPU: gtx 670
mobo: Asus p8z77 v lx
CPU: i5 3570k
PSU: Corsair TX650 wt

I have no overclock, and have checked all my drivers on device manager, all seem to be up to date.

Again, this problem only started this week.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated and I'm happy to provide any more info if needed.

Well...it seems to be fixed.

Did a deep dust clean of my pc and there were some spiderwebs in there. Don't know where they came from XD

For anyone reading this with the same problem, clean your PC.

Ok it seemed to help it a bit, but I'm still having the problem!

For anyone reading this, I resolved it by doing a clean install of windows 10
