Hello, I have a dell Inspiron 4000 but the motherboard fried, so I baught a new motherboard. When I put it all back together and I tried to get on my enet and natta. I've tried lots of different things to get it working and still natta. I do know the cpu says that it's all in working order, but then I noticed the green and yellow lights don't light up when I plug in the cable. I hope someone will be able to help.

The same cable works on my desktop, it can't be that. walk me through the device manager for the os if you would plz.

Did you buy another motherboard from Dell or did you buy a board from a store or newegg? Never mind just realized its a laptop...... :pt1cable:
Did you load the drivers for it?

Right click on My Computer, and select properties. Select the Hardware tab and then the Device Manager button. Look for any yellow or red exclamation marks or question marks. Look under Network Adapters and make sure yours is listed.

I dont have any drivers for it on disk and yes it is it's listed no yellow or red marks. What else could I do??
