Hello, hope whoever finds this thread is having a nice day. I have a Toshiba Satellite C45 ASP43010FL from a client that needed a few repairs and upgrades after a long time of not using the laptop, so i upgraded the RAM and SSD (laptop didn't have storage in the first place was scrapped and left behind with no use), i chose the Crucial BX500 CT480BX500SSD1 for this task but it doesn't show up in the BIOS and neither in Windows 10 installation prompt. I have tried an HDD and it worked so i know it's not the interface or the contacts of the SATA that is not working.
What else can i try before returning the SSD for a different one? There is barely any documentation about this laptop in the internet and i couldn't find anything about this problem
The laptop have the following Specs:
Processor: Intel Core i3-3110M (2.40ghz, 3M cache)
RAM: Kingston 8GB DDRL3
Storage: 750GB Sata 5400 RPM (from fabric)
BIOS Ver: 1.20. Boot option for CSM (UEFI only also works)
Original OS: Windows 8
Thank you for your time.
