There are some games tho that will ultra settings you get those few suttle changes. Doom 3 is a good example. On high settings the game looked great but on ultra there was more weapon effects such as smoke and glowing on the plasma gun and other weapons.

Doom 3. Not doom 2016. What im saying is the only time you really notice the ULTRA settings in games is more so in single player mode not multiplayer. So if someone plays alot of single player campaign's in games then ultra is very much so noticeable for many people. Multiplayer its more about fps than graphical settings IMO but when i play single player modes or whatever i was every single setting on max for full experience.

i like that it is 3 fans but still only 2 slots wide and barely taller than the i/o bracket. some 3 fan models are 3 slots wide and crazy tall. takes a full size case just to house it. this one would fit in a nice midtower and probably some smaller cases as well. price is not too bad either for custom cooling.

Well finally it looks like all the 10 series cards have stabilized in pricing and stock. Just looked at newegg and the 1080, 1070, and 1060 are all not having "out of stock" syndrome anymore. There are still a couple of overpriced cards, but that's it.

However, I'm still not finding 1070s for $370 like they were supposed to be priced at, but at least they're down to $400.

Seeing how the Titan XP overclocked to 2GHz easily, I wonder if you could do the same with the 1050ti and if so, how much performance you would gain. Could be a very potent card.

Shhhhh! Don't say anything! NVidia could lock the multiplier!

i'm certain they will ensure if won't reach 1060 levels and with no sli it'll sit in it's place and stay there like a good boy ....

that's assuming the card is actually released. might just be a 1060 2gb model to go with the cut down 3 gb one but just further cut down. that'll teach folks to stop trying to understand the naming scheme!!
