Question NVLink different RTX cards?

Hello,
Just wondering with RTX cards can you mix different brands and models when NVLink’ing them?

And if yes, are there any disadvantages besides the Visual aesthetics?

Example these two linked together using a NVLink:
EVGA 2080 TI
MSI 2080

i haven't follow SLI related tech for years but i imagine the requirement still pretty much the same as older SLI. you can mix brand but both card must be the same model; RTX 2080 with another RTX2080.
