My PC's display will not turn back on after I leave my computer for a while (30+ min?) and the display closes due to inactivity timeout. When I return to my PC, I click my mouse/keyboard to wake the display, and the display lights up for a second (backpanel lit, but display is still black), shows no signal, and the display turns off again. The PC is still running (RGB on, fans turning, fans actually turn faster for a few seconds when I press mouse/keyboard).
Unplugging/replugging/plugging into the motherboard the Display Port cables have no effect. I have 2 monitors but using either of them only does not work either. The only "fix" is to manually restart the PC using the hardware controls on the case. This doesn't seem to be a problem with the GPU hardware itself... I switched my GPU yesterday from a 1080 to a 3080, but the 1080 also had these problems, just more seldom (seems to happen every single time with the 3080).

could well be a failure to handle ACPI properly. look for ACPI errors. check which BIOS versions are available and which is most suitable. i just searched [fix problem acpi windows 10] and got some interesting results.
