**Background Applications:**

**Description of Original Problem:** Computer randomly restarts, no overheating. Started every few hours, now its every few minutes. PC black screens and returns me to windows login screen.

**Troubleshooting:** Reseated everything, blew out case, flashed BIOS, completely wiped computer and reinstalled windows. Not sure what else I can do.

It would be helpful to know WHEN it restarts, how often it does so and what you are doing when it does it?

It would also be helpful to, rather than say "flashed BIOS", list the EXACT BIOS version that is currently installed.

Also, let's don't "think" we know what power supply is in use. Let's take a look at the label on the side of the PSU and get the exact model number and series, as well as offering some idea of approximately how old/how long in service it is?

What does "unknown drivers" mean? Do you mean the drivers are the natively supplied Microsoft drivers and that you haven't gone to the motherboard product page and downloaded/installed the latest network adapter (LAN and WiFi), bluetooth and audio drivers AND gone to the AMD website and downloaded/installed the latest AMD X570 chipset drivers? Because that would be a really good place to start. It would also be very helpful to install HWinfo and take a look at both the CPU and graphics card temperatures to see if a thermal issue might be to blame for the restarts.

Current BIOS version: 7C35vAI. I can't get HWinfo back as the computer restarts every 2-3 minutes now. I can be sitting with no applications open or playing a game, it's very inconsistent. All temps are fine, at least when I had the time to open up a program and stress test.

I honestly didn't know there were chipset drivers that had to be updated but unfortunately I can't do that anymore. Just checked the power supply, that is the correct one and it's less than a year old.

To clarify, this happened a little less than a year ago on a different GPU, RAM, and PSU but after wiping the computer and installing those new parts, it stopped.

Also, getting a Kernel Power 41 code when PC restarts if that means anything

Does it restart or have any problems if you DON'T boot into Windows, and simply enter into the BIOS environment?

Have you tried creating a bootable Ubuntu or other Linux distro and boot to that to see if you have the same issue? If not, I would do so, IF it does not have problems restarting outside the Windows environment. You are likely going to HAVE to find some kind of access to another computer of some kind, whether it belongs to a friend, relative, whatever.

What are the models and approximate ages of all storage devices attached, including any external devices?

Have you tried unplugging ALL USB devices then powering on to see if it still does this? If not, I would try that as well. I've seen USB devices also cause this sort of behavior before when there is a problem with one of them.

If you can, I would create and run Memtest86, IF it does not have problems outside the Windows environment.

If it does still have problems even when it is not in Windows, then you should use the following guide to help figure out what is going on.

It runs fine when I boot into the BIOS.

Windows is not Ubuntu. So, yes.

We're trying to figure out if this is a Windows issue, or a hardware issue, and the only way to do that is to run something other than Windows to see if the same problems happen and if they don't then we KNOW the problem is Windows or a Windows driver related problem.
