[SOLVED] PCI-E cable goes directly into the PSU??

As you can see there are 2 ends on the PCIe Cable both are 6+2. But shouldnt one go into the PSU and the other into the GPU? Because one more end which can not be unplugged goes directly into the PSU. Does that mean I have 2 6+2 pins available for the GPU?

This is a semi modular PSU. You take the 6+2 end with the writing "PCI-E" on it and you plug that into your GPU.

You don't plug the second 6+2 if you don't have to use it. This is for plugging two power connectors on the GPU on the same PCI-E cable.

Both ends say "PCI-E", just gotta turn the one in the middle around
