i have the Gigabyte MA790X-UD4P and i will say there is only one downfall that i have. i use gskill 1066 memory and the board dont fully support my memory. i have to run my memory at 800mhz.
took me a rma of my mobo, cpu, and memory trying to get rid of my blue screens before the gskill tech told me that without the option to adjust the voltage in the ht the memory will not be fully supported.
here is what the tech said
"Without a HT Voltage option, this motherboard/processor will have issues operating the memory at DDR2-1066. Hopefully Gigabyte will resolve this.
Thank you
GSKILL SUPPORT"
here is what im running my memory and it is set at 800mhz. also i have my 550be unlocked and overclocked to 3.6 and it is rock solid in prime 95 and memtest 86.
