Funny how you need to be on the internet *everytime* you try to play or save
with one of the premium modules.... except I'm not laughing. Microsoft just
fell into second place for the ability to inconvenience it's customers. Even
they don't make you authenticate *everytime* you boot up your computer and
save a Word document. Sheesh! I honestly hope I HAVE done something wrong,
but somehow I doubt it.... Please, someone tell me I had a bad install!

I don't think you have to be online to save, but to load a game, yes you do.

You're right =-) I just wish I'd known about all the free stuff available
before I'd paid for those... some actually look quite decent. I've had this
game a long time, but have only recently begun to play it with any
frequency, and now I play it a lot... Glad I've stumbled on to this
newsgroup too.... lots of great information here!

I was disappointed by Shadowguard, but Witch's Wake is great (though way
too short and uneventful). Kingmaker I've only just begun, but it looks
much more expansive and deeper. But yeah, there are tons of free mods
out there too, many of which are better than these.

Is there any follow-up mod to Witch's Wake? I played WW when it first
came out as a free mod and would like to know more about the story
behind the events.

They're making the sequel right now, but it's not available yet.
