+1^^

The last, really stable version of Windows was 95C, if that says anything. Considering the speeds at which modern cpus are dealing with code, and all it takes is 1 misplaced bit of code (networking drivers are notoriously unstable) to throw a pc into a loop, its not going to be unusual for 8 out of 100 pc's to freeze every now and then. And then you throw human operators into the mix.

It's not the psu. It's a combination of humans, drivers, hdd misreads, SSD miswrites etc.

I hope Foxconn thing doesnt happen there

You can't hotlink like that for pictures. You have to use an image host.

???

The 750 (and 750Ti) didn't require a power connector either.

I don't see why this deserves attention beyond a bare minimum article like that. All ASUS has done is remove it from the board and very slightly modify software so it doesn't look for power from the connector before booting...

There have been rumours of Nvidia working on a more efficient version of the GeForce GTX 950 design and from this product release it looks like ASUS is one of the first partners to use it. It's better than the old refference and have OC and Gaming mode.

So they make better card with lower power consumption

Edit: Even some GTX 750ti with 2 fans need 6 pin connector, so they managed use 2 fans without 6 pin and much better than 750ti 2 fans

I find it hard to believe Nvidia would release a modified version under the same name - you're losing marketing potential, and gaining the possibility of complaints because the performance may change.

Fans take almost no power. They're just a BoM issue.

By 2 fans i mean it take enough TDP to generate that much of heat and can still be overclocked.
