Rampage II extreme power problems

mem dominator gt 1866 6gb
case antec twelve hundred
gpu ati 5970
psu corsair hx1000w

this problem happened suddenly the other day when i went to turn my pc on. it turned on for a split second and then died. i noticed the ROG logo was lighting up and then switching off in pulses. this is supposed to be on all the time. i haven't tried another PSU with it yet, but does it sound like the board is dead or the PSU is gone?

I also have the same problem (about same specs i7 920, ati 4970 x2, corsair hx 1000w)

tryed clearing cmos but nada. As soon you press power button it blinks and the LCD Poster reads Power off.

Did you overcome with problem?
