Hi all,
I am running into an issue where the program rtkuwp.exe is occasionally running off of my dedicated graphics card. When this occurs there seems to be no way to stop it other than restarting my computer to get it back to using integrated graphics. I am using the MSI GS65 2060 model and have altered by NVIDIA settings to globally use the integrated graphics only. This issue appears to only occur after having headphones plug into my computer then unplugging them. I have tried going into NVIDIA and forcibly setting that program to use the integrated graphics only as well, but that doesnt seem to have worked. Also, force closing the application gave me a warning pop-up about possible system errors because of the type of process it is.
Are there are any drivers updates I can apply to realtech audio applications on my PC or some other way I can force it to never use the dedicated graphics card.
FYI: It is important that my dedicated graphics only runs when I want it to, not with random applications because my computer only gets about 2-3 hours of battery life when it is in use (no matter how extensively) compared to 6-7 hours without.
Please let me know if any more information would be helpful.
Thank you
Jack
