Crashing, Freezing and getting monitor refreshes ever since installing this new GPU. It's only in GPU intensive games. I've previously had the 1080 and had no problems with it. It was a plug and play. With this 2080 I always end up crashing 10-30 minutes into the game.
I've already did a fresh install of windows. Then I did another where it deletes the WHOLE thing without a trace. I've done DDU many times. Even with it not installing Nvidia, I've lowered the clock speed by -25 and it went 2 1/2 hours of Witcher 3 Max Settting for a while but ended up crashing. I've crashed in Siege max settings, fix for that was maxing the fan speed. Haven't crashed since. I play on 1440p 144hz. I have 3 monitors. 2 of them are 1440p the other is 1080p. I've played on the 1080p before all this. Then switched 1440p same crashes. Same KernalEvent.
Tried all this with the GTX 1080 and not a single problem. I'm really hoping its something i'm doing and not having to resort to RMA.
