[SOLVED] Should I connect monitor to MB or GPU?

Hi everyone I got my new build today
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
Motherboard: Asrock B450M Pro-4
GPU: MSI 1660 Ti Ventus XS OC
And my screen is a BenQ GW2270H
So my motherboard has a VGA port while the GPU has HDMI(screen has both ports). How should I connect the screen?

Definitely by the GPU. (Back of the 1660Ti) The 1600 does not have onboard Video.
