I'm seeing some funk with appearance items not always filling in. It is sometimes fixed by a page refresh.

Oh, and I can finally log into the UK mirror at work, AND my privs appear to be working there (I could view a deleted thread).
So, I'm generally very pleased about this change.

I wanted to ask a question but there appears to only be "Your solution" option to the thread. So I decided to just reply to you in order to ask my question.

I logged in using my old Tom's Hardware credentials, however, when I went to see about the new login function, all I got were Browser options for login ....I really do not want to use my browser login credentials to access Tom's Hardware site. I much prefer keeping my login info separate to prevent more than one site using the same UserID and PW.

Is this correct? Or are the instructions not including everything?

Not sure what you mean by browser options for log in? Would you mind clarifying? Are you referencing your Google Log in, as in your e-mail address?

While we work out the kinks in our migration to the new log in system, you may have to log in using your e-mail address associated with your Tom's Hardware account. We expect to resolve this issue once the migration is over.

Yes, I am referencing the google login. I do not wish to use my browser login info, I would much rather use my current credentials instead. Is this going to be a problem?

The login page I was provided only asks for Facebook or Google login...this is a problem for me as I refuse to use Facebook and I do not want to use my google browser credentials for logging into Tom's Hardware.

You should be able to use the e-mail address associated with your account or the username itself to log in. If you'd like to change the e-mail address associated with your account you will have to e-mail me directly at community@tomshardware.com

I would like to maintain my current Tom's Hardware credentials as I am using a user name not my email address. My email address is on file as I receive notifications regularly from Tom's Hardware and have no issues with those.

But when I was presented that new login page and it offered Facebook or Google for logging in, I really became concerned. I do not wish to use either of those. And from what I'm reading our current login will go away. Or is the information provided not complete yet?

Those are additional log in options. You can log in using your existing information in the area below.

Thank you, I thought that was only temporary until the changes had been finished. Appreciate the update.

Sorry lumineZ, unfortunately there still is not a fix. For now I recommend logging in with your e-mail address instead of your username or vice versa. Clearing your cookies and restarting your browser may also do the trick.

Do you have this issue in all browsers?

I only use my e-mail address as login
I have cleared cookies god knows how many times now...
I tryed clearing everything including uninstall the browser and reinstalling it.
Same problem in Chrome and internett explorer (win10)

So no matter what I can think of or tips I get and try out. Same problem.. 🙁

I have a hotmail account.

Hi.
Got the 'Login Required on Tom’s' e-mail on the 12th of August. Promptly logged in again, succeeded, then forgot about it.
Today, I got a reminder e-mail, this time also elaborating on the giveaways. This brought me a seed of fear and doubt: Did I get a reminder because of the giveaways, or the time I logged back in a week ago simply put, "didn't count"?
Is there's a way to know for sure my account won't be lost to Warp? Better safe than sorry, as the saying goes.

I'm using Firefox on W10, with a password specific to Tom's (not logged in through Facebook or Google+).

Attention Tom's Hardware Members

I am proud to announce the password reset feature is once again available :bounce:

You can now reset your password directly from the new login page/widget. You are no longer able to reset your password from the account settings page.

I think it would be worthy to make that info available at separate sticky thread, named "How to reset password for Tom's", more people would see it that way.

Hey are you still having this issue? The developers are trying to narrow down the cause.
