Fantastic system. Excellent way to say thank you to all your readers for their contribution to Tom's hardware. We appreciate all you do for us TH!

I do love the case though. I wonder what they are going to use for lighting when blue LEDs get old?

I've always been an AMD fanboy, but the I7 really impresses me. I'd love to win one to get my hands on one as see what it can do.

One thing I noticed - use of watercooling, but there is still fans on the side. I wonder how quiet it is under full load?

The only bad thing about this is that you cannot build it! Possibly the best part of custom PCs...and two of those components are Toms hardware recommended buy!

I read the rules. I love tom's hardware, so participating in a contest is a bonus, there are great hardware reviews here, and lots of other stuff worth reading.
@wildfox SSDs still arent child proof. =p

Winning this could prove to be a negative experience for me.
I am not much of a gamer. My machine cannot handle it. And with my addictive personality, gaming would ultimately become another thing i would simply be better off without.
If I were to win this I would probably lose my job, and not being able to pay my bills, end up homeless.
It is a good thing my chances are minimal.

[citation][nom]gidgiddonihah[/nom]Great idea.I love the case, but doesn't the CPU seem just a touch underpowered? And that video card is just a little lower end... JUST KIDDING!!So is Tom's saying that you can just contact Cyberpower and get a brand new computer?? MAN I have to try that! So Tom's gets bonus, they get more activity, therefore more money from advertisements, some lucky idiot that has no clue about computers will win this, and Cyperpower gets more attention!?! Win win for everyone! Maybe that lucky idiot is me ? MORE POWER TO YA!(Oh btw the pun was unintentional)[/citation]

Wow bro...i can't believe you said that the CPU was underpowered. I think you gave yourself away that you have a pretty fast system. Hope you were kidding. Hopefully that "Idiot" that wins this machine doesn't try to modify it himself without some professional help.

[citation][nom]cyrusfox[/nom]I'll comment, I have no idea why the system they are giving away has a Sata III drive on a normal 7200RPM mechanical Drive, I think I saw an article on Tom's showing that this has no really advantage on the newer Sata III standard as it will never saturate the connection. Sata III is more applicable to future Mass storage tech such as SSD and whatever the future may hold. Putting it on a drive like this is more of a marketing gimmick. No substantial performance increase with a mechanical drive on Sata 3.0 vs Sata 6.0Well if you make it to page 31/32, maybe You'll pick me for the win.[/citation]

I think the point why they selected a SATA III is because of sponsorship. It offers significant opportunities for distinct marketing and competitive advantages for the company. If the company can offer something free in advantage of another company using their own money. Why not?

This did it, I'm really a closet geek but I couldn't pass this up. So here I am with my spanking new toms hardware account, I hope this is the winning ticket XD

I think for the tie breaker. We should guess what page and time this will end at when the contest ends.

My guess this will go all the way to page 91 at 10:00 Pacific time.

I don't envy the person that actually has to read all these comments. I imagine even the thought of it is enough to lower your IQ.

[citation][nom]TheWhiteRose000[/nom]A Amazing computer!A Azza Hurricane case, I've personally always loved Azza.I keep buying the 650 Watt Dynamo Power supply off of Newegg.Just cause of how reliable it is.Then a New I7 core at 2.93 Ghz, for incredibly fast processing speed. That's just adding to the level of greatness to this product not to mention the6 gigs of memory for extra comfort when it comes to using your programs. The 12 in 1 card reader, add's another bonus for all those people, that love photography.as well as make a suitable place to use Readyboot if any of the memory cards canUse that feature, although with a computer that powerful who needs ready boost? The 1 terabyte for amazing storage as well as speed at 7200 rpm's with a 64mb cache. Is just screaming fast, and also reliable,.But lets not forget about the Nividia GTX 460, with amazing graphical power. And ability to play practically every game on the market flawlessly, then you got the bonusOf having a Gigabyte motherboard, and Lan connection which is one of the motherboards.I mainly use due to how good the company is.Now only with there products but costumer support.I remember my first computer was a Gigabyte and it lasted me a good 6 years! All running from a 800 Watt Power supply so everything will be all set.Not only with "POWER" but also in needing "POWER".This computer is basically set!The Optical mouse also is a bonus simple, sleek elegant, no one can really kill. The Classic Mouse. And with Windows 7 home premium, 64x Edition, and a 24X speed DVD player / burner. You are basically universally set with this computer.Weather you be in Web Design, Gaming, Photography. Its a All around Versed computer, that can handle even the most extreme conditions.Sense it has a Liquid cooling system. Its just simply Epic Win in a box!Anyone who win's this is going to be incredibly lucky!....I kinda want it now....[/citation]

Great post!

All in all, you are correct that this machine is very versatile for either gaming or processing RAW data files and i think all of us on this board wants it. I think you missed the fact that this machine has gigantic 240mm fans. I just came from a computer store and it was the size of my palm.

[citation][nom]processthis[/nom]I just gave you a thumbs up, HA! Wait...were you trying to trick me? Nooo...! =P[/citation]

Thanks! Someone is listening.

[citation][nom]bh2o[/nom]No witty comment, but here is a dark story instead, enjoy:The post card the group picked was a forest scene. There's grass, itkindof looks like the top of a hill, tall trees, a boy is curled up on theground, there are these red birds that turn into leaves that originatebehind the boy. The red color becomes stronger as it goes up into the sky. This is my story:Tommy had gotten away from the bad man. The bad man who started out goodwhen Mom brought him home from work-she's a dancer at the strip joint onthe bad side of town. Mom seemed happy when she came home with the man; itcertainty sounded like it twenty minutes later, after Tommy was in bed,his head against the same wall that his mother's head was on, on the otherside of the wall.He could hear her laugh softly, telling the man where to put his things, purring, the sound of people climbing onto the bed, the headboard hittingthe wall and the mattress bouncing. More soft giggles. The sound of lipstouching lips. Then the moans, more mattress bouncing, the headboardhitting the wall. Tommy tries to sleep. Then the man and Mom crying out inpleasure together. Silence. Finally sleep. For how long he doesn't know. The sound of pleading, whimpers, cries. One giant crack, the sound offlesh running into flesh and the crunch of bone. She cries out, "Stop!"Is that sheets ripping? Why would they rip the sheets Tommy questions. IsMom hurt? All sorts of sounds, loud and fast. Running feet, the mattress bouncing, the headboard smacking, more running feet, quick shadows passingunderneath his door, his mother screaming and crying for mercy, lowresponses from the man-he can't make them out.He gets out of bed. Opens the door of his room. Blood droplets in thehallway. He goes to the kitchen. More blood. Lots of it. His mother'sblood. Then everything happens quickly;it's all a blur. Blood and screams and hismother dead; killed by the man she brought home, by the man on the otherside of the wall, in his mother's bed.The man goes after him. He feels pain in his stomach. He twists away. Morepain in his back. But he wrenches away again. He's running, hard, fast.Running out the back door, into Mr. Johnson's tomato plants, crushing themunderfoot. He hears the man breathing right behind; his fingers clawing at his nightshirt. Tommy runs faster, despite the cold spilling down his shirt andpants. He runs until the man gives up, but Tommy doesn't stop.He runs into Mr. Johnson's orchard on the hill. And collapses onto theground. He's too tired to go any further. His body feels cold all over.Cold and wet.He sees the blood for the first time. Is it his mother's blood? But, how?He never even got close to her.Tommy is tired. He closes his eyes to sleep. The end.[/citation]

Is there some sort of special message in your story like one of those gangs where they send out special messages that they send from jail? Should i copy every fourth word and find out what your secret message it?

How do you judge a comments 'smart and witty' factor?

Is there a check list, or a chart that you have there?

I.E. 'Did the poster use proper grammar?'

Or is it like a point system? Three points for being a girl, minus three for improper capitalization, etc.

I just hope whoever is judging is good at this, cause you have to work at detecting the subtle wittiness sometimes.

[citation][nom]earthforce_1[/nom]One thing I noticed - use of watercooling, but there is still fans on the side. I wonder how quiet it is under full load?[/citation]

The computer case, itself, while not actually a noise producer on its own, has a large impact on overall system noise as well. Its design is, perhaps, one of the most important considerations when trying to build a quiet system. Heatsinks and their accompanying fans are, perhaps, the most notorious noisemakers in a computer. Hard Drives are a major contributor to system noise for a couple reasons. So..it's really hard to tell if all those components but there are ways to add brackets and some mods to make it quieter.

[citation][nom]youssef 2010[/nom]too bad the contest isn't open worldwide[/citation]

I think it's because of regulations? Also, shipping would cost people some ridiculous amount of money. I would imagine though how many hands it would take and the risk from many shipping companies that would send it overseas though. Great thought though.

Well, shes not the prettiest filly in the pasture, but my current machine is a p4 laptop that overheats trying to play the original Star Craft, so I wouldn't kick her out of bed.

...and so heres to hoping that I'm not immediately disqualified for the horrendously egregious mixing of equine and sexual metaphors... god knows I'm already going to hell just for thinking it.
