Question SSD IS LOSING storage and cant find what all the memory its taking up

My computer's memory just keeps going down and down even after deleting so much its still terrible

you can quickly regain 10 GB or so by setting your recycle bin properties manually to just 4 GB or so...

Install either WinDirStat or WizTree
Run as Administrator, selecting only the drive in question.

....and you need a bigger SSD pretty darn quickly....(even my 500 GB 960 EVO is feeling cramped 2 years after getting it...)

I'd look at an Intel 660P if you have an available NVME/M.2 slot, and a Crucial MX500 if looking for standard SATA....

Also check for malware.

go find Windows.old and ditch it...that will clear 10-15 GB pretty quickly as well....

If you're selling it, you need to do a full wipe and reinstall of the OS on that drive. Or whatever drive you're selling it with.
