Can anybody throw light on the following finds that I keep getting when I run
Spybot. Are they something that I should worry about and can I delete them
safely. I don't fancy going into the registry!!

Windows Security Center.AntiVirusDisableNotify
Settings HKEY_local_machine\software\Microsoft\Security
Centre\AntiVirusDisableNotify!=dword:O

Windows Security Center.FirewallDisableNotify
Settings HKEY_local_machine\software\Microsoft\Security
Centre\FirewallDisableNotify!=dword:O

Thanks S

Spybot is telling you that the alert feature of Windows Security Center
(and all the Security Center does is alert - it doesn't provide
protection itself) is disabled for your antivirus and firewall. If you
(or a tech you know) did this yourself, don't worry about it. Just
ignore it or put it on the exclusion list. I always disable the
Security Center alerts for my antivirus, but then I'm quite capable of
looking after my security myself. This feature is most useful for end
users who aren't aware of their av/firewall status.

Viruses and non-viral malware can disable your antivirus and firewall
and the Security Center alerts about that, so that is why Spybot is
telling you this.

For your own peace of mind, you might want to take a look here:

Why does Spybot-S&D flag changes in the Windows Security
Center?

When it shows up, just right click and tell SPYBOT to ignore this one ...
that simple.
