I know that. I'm not getting it now. Plus, I dont get it when I play minecraft MOST OF THE TIME. Mainly Warthunder and probs BF4 when I get it but I hope to fix that issue using the menu thing...I might do it at warthunder...Not sure what game has a 100% load menu that i have.
 
I think you need to have some lemonade while your AC is on full blast - you won't be able to hear that coil whine even if it was crying to its mommy 😛 Coil whine is something I've seen manufacturers RMA over time to time but the longer you take to RMA it the longer the things going to come as is with shipping fees being wasted.

If you will RMA mind you, pack a bag of candy along with your GPU so that when the device reaches the tech department the guys will make your RMA process faster.

The swedish fish theory always holds up. I always mail a pack of skittles with an RMA and draw something cool on the box. I did this with my 660ti from amazon RMA and on the return box they wrote: Thanks and sweet dinosaur drawing. I always try to be nice to these people.

Also, I have to go now but MDBA, I will be back at like 3pm EST if you want to play minecraft.

note 2 : i know about much dust in the case LoL will clean it in some days and post a clean image xD

Ak1999 - I;d say that is really good, considering what you've had to work with , that's really good. Or are you looking at feedbacks for some after market goodies?

Tiny - What do I have to keep MSI after burner on for? And I dont know if I can play because (Dont ask why, I dont know why but it just started ) Parents turn off internet evernight at 10Pm..maybe they are sick of me staying awake till 1:30 Idk lol. Eh, It wont last.

Before you go for a new keyboard and mouse setup, I'd ask you to look into a good chair, one that you feel comfortable in. Ergonomics and experience has taught me that an open back chair tends to give you back pain at an early age.

Mind sharing some lemonade...? I'm thirsty.
 
Yeah I need a chair but this keeps my back straight at a 90 degree angle but it still isnt comfy :/ and...you've lived here......Cheap ugly chairs cost a crap load of cash. And yeah I need a new mouse and keyboard....I REALLY need new ones....Working towards it. I will be getting $50 soon...should I use that and safe up for a mechanical keyboard or just buy BF4?

As for the lemonade, Sure, Its not that cold but I just put ice in the freezer. Just fly over and we can have a lemonade and lan party.
 
Have you tried with an without the 2 monitors to see if it changes the coil whine. Many cards run a higher idle clock with 2 screens.

As for the whine and not wanting it even if you can not hear it. All coils whine, it is just a matter if it is within your hearing range or not. Old florescent ballasts do the same thing(transformers are made of coils) My monitor even does it(switching power supply and a ballast so not sure what makes the sound), but It can not be heard on the front side of the screen.

I had a card for years and never did get it to stop, maybe I could have tried the leave it at a coil whining load overnight thing(it was worse at higher frame rates for sure, but these are high frame rates caused by old games or lower graphics).
 
MDBA - thanks for the offer. If I do come down there during the summer I think I'll give you a knock :) On a side note; I know you have access to Ikea. Check their furniture's out and I can guarantee that they make really awesome looking and comfy furniture's. I've bought nothing but them during my stay in U.A.E.

So my opinion would be to go with a good chair for your desktop/reading needs. I tend to do research/reading and drawing work off the same desk where my machine is. Once your posture is settled save some more for a mechanical keyboard but be warned, you need to do some research regarding key switch types and what suites your taste/needs.

Dont be like me and listen to people like I got a 280x which if love but I still wish I had got a 770. Be safe and get what you want.

Don't get me wrong mate but there is a wealth of info around the web to go about digging which will help you follow a path which you'll be satisfied with at the end of it all. Just like that lemonade you're having right now 😛 I gave you an idea, you thought about it, had the resources and made it at your own will ... comprendez akhi.

If you're wondering what I prefer, I'm an architect, I make my own furniture :)
 

Does not even have to be a menu. just find the loudest part of a single player game and leave it(set to NOT shut the screen off/goto sleep, but you can shut the screen off your self).

I remember the game city of heroes made lots of noise when previewing an item. So you just need to find the right load that makes he coils vibrate.

Due to your location I do NOT recommend the RMA unless it get worse because the next card may well do the same thing.

And yes, Its funny cause I just told my brother ""you thought about it, had the resources"And of course he sits, games, and makes me make his damn sandwiches because he said "I MAD YOU A HOTDOG"If he has the stuff and power, do it your damn self! Well that was a bit off topic, but yeah.

WOOT WOOT as of about 1 hour ago i officially own my own home. We signed closing paperwork this morning and got funded about an hour ago!!!! WOOT WOOT......Step 1. buy house..........Step 2. Upgrade cpu & mobo lmfao WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO
 
Hmmm, Tiny - we should collaborate sometime, I've had a killer experience working with 2 individuals. 1 in Portland the other in Canada. Speaking of which I got my EK RH Gold waterblock just yesterday evening. I'd be happy to post pictures but I'd like to keep the anticipation until I have a build log up :)

azz - good to hear so have you called dibbs on which corner/room will be your man cave? 😀
