Two little things:

A. its PooBaa, not PooBa 😛
B. What the sods going on with my points? i used to be bringing in around 400 a day, now im getting piddly 48 pointers that are still taking the same amount of time! 🙁

The average is based on production for the last 7 days.
We do seem to go through stages where the WUs suck big time. Then we get a bunch of sweat ones. I just went from <1 600 pointer at a time to 5 out of 6 systems running the big WUs. Lots of points this comming week (if they dont all cut out early).

Thanks for the pat on the back stefan. Here's a bit about what I have going on (if anybody cares!):

I have been folding for a month or so now on my XP 3000. I was running it 24hrs for a while, but I haven't been lately. Now I just turn my PC on when I leave for work and I shut it down while I sleep.

I recently went on a business trip and used my work laptop to fold while I was gone (about a week). I don't think that would go over well though if they found out so I don't do it while I'm in the office.

Tomorrow my new rig should show up (939 148 opteron). I plan on giving overclocking a whirl and when it's running smooth I will be using that to fold too. I'm considering putting Linux on my current rig and running the Linux version on that. We'll see. Anybody fold on a linux rig?

DH: Congratulations! Another week or so and you will have your first quater of the hundred K!
DM: jep, I did for a while.. - it's pretty straightforward on linux, quite the same as the windows console-version! just ask in this thread if you've got a problem (although the answer might take a while as I'm not checking on a daily basis!) 😳

Thanks for the cheers stefan. Just a note though I'm not trying to keep up to fronsse, I've just been leaving my comp fold 24/7 to make up for all my stupid posts.

i've got my dual xeon still running

after a few months... i'm now 23rd on the team 😛

i'm aimging to break 20 soon enough.

i need to set up a few more rigs at home. i've got spare computeres out the wazoo

First off Welcome all new members.
Second, Congrats all for some nice folding these last few weeks. We may have dropped a spot but at this rate we'll be above rank 100 in no time.

We know you are still a top single rig folder. Too bad you didn't save the F@H file. Then your rig would still show how many folds it's done. Oh well, you just have to look on one of the pages available.
I did backup my F@H files, and after installing Windows I started from where I stopped. But I don't understand why Stanford F@H page thinks I've used more than 1 CPU.

woots. went away for a 4 day holiday... left the rig folding of course, power protected incase of thermal or electricity problems :)

Come back to find im now rank 15. sweetness.
Not bad for a singe cpu effort 😉

Today is my first birthday. Ya, I know some of you think I'm childish, but I mean that I've been folding for one year as of today.
I had hoped to hit 300k, but I'm a few short. I guess I'll have to settle for a daily average of 813 points/day for the year.

Happy Birthday, me! :)
You chose a nice day! We're back to the top 100 as of today, and we'll stay there for a while now! We're even going to rise a few more ranks in the coming days/weeks...
+ we're 60 active folders currently and what makes me optimistic for the future is that we've got a few new team members who put up a really nice daily average!
Sorry that you didn't make the 300K to your birthday, though... - maybe next year you'll make the 600K in time for your second! that's a long time target if I've heard of one!
Keep folding, everyone! Merry christmas, etc... 😛
