Unlock amd phenom ii x2 545

hello forum,

im currently using an amd phenom ii x2 545 unlocked to amd ii x4 b45....no overclocking still 3 ghz...i tested with prime 95 for eight hours with STOCK cooler and everything works fine. i unlocked the cpu 4 weeks ago....everything is smooth no crashes..played duke nukem forever for 7 straight hours no crashes....and some other games which works fine ! ....just wondering should i buy a better cooler for the cpu??? the temp when i run prime is around 65.. but i didnt run it for the last 4 weeks

65 degrees sounds great, however, you should always buy a aftermarket cooler just to be cool

I would definitely invest in an aftermarket cooler. 62 is the recommended max temp for the phenom II processors, and it may not be reporting correctly if it is unlocked.
