Question Want LAN connection but WiFi is too far

So I recently moved into a new house. The WiFi is set up all the way downstairs so its too far. I want to play games on my PC and ps4 but i dont want wireless connection as it lags the game (dont have built in WiFi for PC anyways). How can I get LAN connection without having to connect the wire all the way to my room as it's unpractical and too far, also will look hideous.

You don't want wireless, and don't want to run wires....this is the classic "no-win" situation.

Powerline devices may be a solution. Performance depends on your physical house wiring.
And it won't be as 'fast' or as stable as a regular ethernet cable.

2. Powerline. This pumps the signal through the house electrical wiring. This may or may not work OK, depending on your house wiring
3. MOCA. Same as powerline, except uses whatever coax is in the house instad of the electric wires.

Thanks for giving your advise but im not familiar with these terms. I dont know what powerline or MOCA means.
Also, is there a way i can have a 'second' wifi upstairs by my room?

Powerline -pumps the signal through the house wiring. 2 devices, one near the router, and one in the desired room.
Results vary, conditional on the condition of the house wiring.
Router->powerline device->house wiring->powerline device->PC or switch and multiple PC's

The AV2 standard powerline devices are the best performing.

If you're the homeowner I'd look into getting some cat6a UTP CMR installed. Getting a few on ceiling access points and some fixed devices wired up is well worth it.
