Hi,

As a few have suggested on a previous thread if I upgrade 1 peice on my PC I'd have to upgrade it all cause it was built long time ago..
Right..
So.. I'm curious to know what would happen when I change Motherboard and keep the same SSD ?
Currently got a sabertooth Z77 and I'll be putting a Gigabyte Z390 Elite in.

I heard I may need a new Windows key.. Is this true?
or am I over panicking. ?

The key piece is the motherboard. Most other things you can change no problem.

Windows license:
What specific version, and where did it come from?

Operation:
Yes, a full wipe and reinstall in the new hardware is strongly recommended, usually required.

softwaregeeks is where i got the key from and also im running windows 10 pro..

i really dont wanna reinstall everything again.. i just did it 2 weeks ago 🙁
"No comment" on the origin of that license.

Will it simply 'work'?
As said...with all new hardware, a clean install is strongly recommended, usually required.
You can try it. But be prepared for complete fail, or even 'sort of working'.
