Question which monitor is better?

right now Im deciding between a 7900 GRE and 7900 XT. At the end of the day, it came down to which monitor was better, so I am buying buy the GPU depending on the monitor.

For the GRE my choices are;
1| MSI MAG 341CQP 34'' 1440p 175hz QD-OLED at 679 USD
2| Samsung odyssey G8 34'' 1440p 175hz QD-OLED at 799 USD
and
3| MSI MAG 345CQR 34'' 1440p 180hz VA at 279 USD.

For the 7900 XT my choices are;
1| MSI MPG 341CQPX 34'' 1440p 240hz QD-OLED at 799 USD
2| LG UltraGear 34GS95QE 34'' 1440p 240hz at 699USD
and
3| ASUS ROG swift PG34WCDM 33.9'' 1440p 240hz OLED at 899 USD.

People also tell me ultra wide 1440 is more like 4k than 1440p. Is this true, and can both GPUs handle their respective monitors?

If anyone has any other monitor suggestions, feel free to tell me. I would prefer an ultra wide monitor, but it's not needed, and I would also like curved, but it is not needed again. QD-OLED, OLED, and VA are my panel choices, my budget is 900 USD.

Yes they can, though just to keep in mind, the two GPU's mentioned above have different power draws. Beyond that if you're looking for 4K gaming, then the XT is the one you look at.

People seem to say this a lot and a lot of people are absolutely wrong:
1440p = 3686400 pixels
1440p UW = 4953600 pixels ~34% more than 1440p
4k = 8294400 pixels ~125% more than 1440p

Whether or not you can take advantage of the refresh rate is going to come down to the individual games, lowering visual quality and even then only if your CPU can drive the frame rate. Both are good cards, but the 7900 XT is going to be the one which lasts longer given that it's the faster of the two cards.

PG34WCDM and 34GS95QE have an 800R curve which means it's very extreme and personally that'd be a no buy for me.

341CQPX uses what is the best panel of the ones listed here. I don't have any personal experience with MSI, but so long as their warranty is decent I wouldn't be adverse to trying one of theirs.

341CQP and Odyssey G8 both use the same panel, and if it's available for similar pricing the Alienware AW3423DWF is the model I'd go with that uses that panel.

I'm not sure I'd bother considering a cheap VA panel now as they all seem to be using the same ones and are relatively old panels. I have an AOC CU34G2X which is relatively good for a VA panel, but the ones that came after seem to have not improved at all. There's a newish VA panel out with 2304 dimming zones and 165Hz refresh which is supposed to be decent (used in Innocn 34M1R, Titan Army M34E7R, Acer X34 V3/X34 MINILED depending on region), but I haven't seen any professional reviews yet.
