Question Will an i5 2400@3.1ghz bottleneck a gtx1660ti? And if so what's the highest range/power gpu I could get for an i52400 without it bottlenecking?

I have the CPU in mention and really need a new GPU! (monitor resolution is 1680 x 1050) Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Edit (to 2nd part of question): when I say bottlenecking I mean bottlenecking significantly were it's like noticable? as you can tell I'm not an expert and may word things wrong haha

The short answer is most certainly, yes! The 2400, 7 years ago was an awesome chip. Not so much now. Will it bottleneck that card, yes. Would it be noticeable? Yes, most likely, but it depends on a few factors. But, undeniably, yes!

A better paring would be like a GTX560ti/750ti. GTX960 at a push. Anything higher, and there maybe a bottleneck.

would a GTX960 be the highest performing without noticable bottlenecking or the highest performing with NO bottlenecking? Because I've heard that the 2400 3.1 can go well, somewhat, with gtx 1050's and 1060's (also, thank you for the reply I really appreciate it!)

I'd say the 960 would have no bottlenecking. A GTX1060 3gb isn't a bad option. There wouldn't be much of a bottleneck with it.
