As a first time builder, I was curious about the temps which my overclocked i5-8600k is running. I have overclocked it to 4800MHz and 1.25v. I could have pushed it further but wanted it to live for a little bit longer.
Temps:
Idle - 35°C
Internet browsing (YouTube) - 43 - 51°C
Gaming - 58 -...
My motherboard is the Gigabyte B450M DS3H. I do not OC so i am fine with a budget board, the only issue I am facing is that my case has three fans (4 if including CPU fan) but only two spots for fans. One being the CPU and one being a regular case fan. I do not want to hook the other two up to...
Hi there.
I am experienced as PC user, but still have one question which is hardly debated on internet and also it's interesting for me. Got a MSI GTX 1660 Ti, which is great GPU, but after a time i decided to set-up my own Fan Curve profile (i really didn't want wear fans out quickier, because...
I recently bought a intel i5 4670k and i realized that it was very warm while gaming, max was around 83 C and minmum was somwhere around 73 C and this was with a be quiet Pure Rock Slim cooler on turbo. For comparison i have a diffrent pc with a ryzen 3 1200 and its overclocked at 3.8 Ghz with...
EVGA 1070Ti Ultra FTW seems to be thermal throttling even when the temperatures seems to be below 65 C
While running Heaven benchmark, it starts with the Core Clock of 2062(+160Mhz OC) then degrades to 2032 at the middle of the benchmark(temps 59 ~ 62 C) even though the temperature are way...

Hi everyone!
I have a brand new Palit GTX 1060 6gb gpu with single blower fan. When I play "heavy" games, my gpu often reaches around 80 Celsius.
In MSI Afterburner, if I roll down the temp limit to 70 celsius, or anything else is it HARMFUL to my gpu?
Because it effects to the power limit too...

Hi, so since a few days some weird folders that start with tw and end with .tmp keep appearing in the C:/Windows/Temp folder. They seem to appear at random times and they contain no files in them. I already did a full virus scan with ESET and ESET SysRescue which both had 0 threats found, I...
Hi, I see a suspicious high temp in HWMonitor and CorsairLink.
I don't know what component this sensor belongs to. sometimes this temp goes as high as 127C under load and sometimes its just zero.
I did stability test memtest86 until 8 passes with no errors. also 20 minutes of Prime95 blend...

Hello. This is my first post here, so please excuse me for the lack of information I provide. So, my CPU is an i7 7700, and it runs 30 degrees at idle and 55-60 degrees under load. I have a CPU cooler way too overkill for it and it usually down clocks itself to 2.7-3.5 ghz when I'm playing a...
So I have a 4k monitor and a cheap 1080p monitor and system is running windows 10 home. The 4k monitor is the monitor that I am gaming on, obviously. The 1080p monitor I use for displaying my temperature monitoring programs (msi afterburner & HWMonitor). I am able to get those 2 temp monitoring...
Hi, my ASUS WS Z390 PRO only has "Support Intel XMP" written on it. If I use Corsair rams that have performance profile XMP 2.0 on it, will there be compatibility issue? I am using i9-9900K.

I need to install Windows 10 but I only own a copy of Windows 8.1, from which I upgraded to Windows 10 when the upgrade was for free. How do I install Windows 8.1 on the M.2, and can I still upgrade to Windows 10 for free?
I have this problem for the second time. The first time I've fixed it with system restore point and it worked. I THINK windows crashed after using front USB port. Now about one or two minutes after using front usb it happened again. Same problem. Log file...
I changed the fan on my HP Pavilion DV7. Now it won't turn back on. The light is on by the power cord & the battery is fully charged. I tried the power reset--no luck. I reseated the RAM, no luck. Any ideas?
I tried going into Disk management and enabling the disk from there but it doesn't let me change anything.

I've just built a new PC, and at the final step I connected the CNVI wifi chip into the motherboard and the tiny connectors on the chip came off. I was worried I had broken them, but I was able to re-attach them delicately. Once I booted up the PC, everything was detected except wi-fi. I have no...
Not sure if im writing this in the right place but here we go. Essentially the problem is when im playing games on my pc i like to plug in headphones (regular 20 dollar earbuds actually the ones with the mic attatched) this allows me to hear the games better because most of my gaming is done...
I just published a question on 'Display' forum with the title something like "Dual Monitors G-sync and Freesync nvidia card".
How can I find my thread?
Just played AC: Origins and Witcher 3 to test out the temperature on my CPU, I just changed the Thermal Paste, I used Deep Cool Z9. My CPU is an i7-4790K, it's being cooled by a Corsair H80i, I also just cleaned the fan and radiator.
