This is a build I have put together for a friend of mine.
He is looking to play games like The Witcher 3 and similar.
He also has to buy a monitor which is capable of 1440p.

Things I took into consideration:

I went full AMD because the price of the 3800x is identical to the one of the i7-9700k and I also wish to make use of the FreeSync technology from AMD.
We are also trying to go for aesthetics thus the RGB RAM. We are also probably going to buy some RGB fans afterwards.

I need a check-up on the build as well as a recommendation for a monitor.
Do I need to update the BIOS of the motherboard for it to be able to run Ryzen 7? (if so, does the motherboard I have picked support "offline" BIOS updating via USB?)

All together with the monitor should be 1500€ at max.
