Hi there,

I have this problem for a long time and it gave me dizziness, my laptop (Acer 5750g) has problem that, i plug in battery to charge and it charges to 100%, I unplug it and it drains to 0% as far as 20 minutes. Laptop immediately goes to hibernation mode, then I turn it on again, and it can hold about 50 more minutes untill it drains completely. I tried battery calibration multiple times on multiple ways, tried using laptop without battery for day or two, then put it back in, i tried updating BIOS to a never version (latest), then rolling back bios to some of the previous versions, still no help, changed my power adapter and so on...

STILL NO CLUE WHAT POSSIBLY COULD BE!

Can someone who has deeper understanding of laptop power circuits try to find solution to this, I will be very helpful!
Regards.

Have you considered trying a replacement battery? Searching on sites like Amazon and Ebay for "Acer 5750g battery", third-party batteries for that laptop appear to be relatively inexpensive, so it might be worth a try.

That appears to be a somewhat older laptop, so it's very possible that the battery might just be wearing out, which happens with Lithium batteries over time. The laptop might be detecting a reduction in voltage early on and assuming the battery is about to run out.

If the system is hibernating automatically when the power gets detected as being low, there might be an option to disable that, perhaps by rebooting into the BIOS.
