ASrocks x-boost autooverclock

My friend's got this motherboard paired with a amd a10 5800k, my question here is about its "X - Boost" function...does it really overclock the cpu upto 15.77% more in performance?..

Seems legit.Asus mobos also have A.I. Boost to OC the Cpu.mine is an old P5n32e-sli and it auto boost 25%.Since it seems AMD uses more voltages it might be harder to control the CPU so to play it safe they keep the auto OC on levels the mobo could handle without crashes.

At least thats what I understand.Might be wrong.

It does overclock my 975 to 3.8ish so although I'd not worked out percentages, it seems around right,
he will get higher clocks manually setting things, and most likely at lower voltages than the X-Boost would use, meaning lower temps
