Hello, so i have an issue with my PC, its constantly crashing on high load mostly gaming, benchmarking or stress testing won't do anything. memory is replaced so i think it's not the issue.
I tried lost of things, reinstalling drivers, reset OS, recheck all power cables, reapplied CPU thermal paste, monitor thermals and GPU thermals are nors 72C max at full load, CPU gets 82C max at full load.

Can you follow option one on the following link - here - and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD - that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD

  1. Open Windows File Explore
  2. Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump
  3. Copy the mini-dump files out onto your Desktop
  4. Do not use Winzip, use the built in facility in Windows
  5. Select those files on your Desktop, right click them and choose 'Send to' - Compressed (zipped) folder
  6. Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.)
  7. Then post a link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .

sorry, but theres no such thing as "minidump" on my pc :d

funny thing, i just got BSOD trying to get in a warzone match, and theres still no "minidump",
is there some setting in windows or something turned off that prevents from collecting crash data?

Check Event Viewer and Reliability History.
sorry, but i don't know what to look for.
theres a few errors of "A fatal hardware error has occurred. A record describing the condition is contained in the data section of this event."
and this is the code for it:

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

about same health as mine in way less time
i2obQtT.jpg

You have used 1% of your total writes, is what I think it means. I looked it up when I hit same mark, but Its going fast?
yours has only been on 108 hours, mine... over 8000

i doubt that code in the event any use to anyone. Was it from reliability history? Screenshots might be better.

what BSOD code are you getting? There are over 300, I don't know them all.

did you check the other 2 drives as if you playing a game off one of them, it helps to check their health too.

well its probably cause mine is obviously cheaper and i reset my windows (basicallly you can say reinstalled) bunch of times cuz a few times it got corrupted and other times i was troubleshooting but nothing helped.
before i was getting different codes and now im only getting this code "WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR"

screen shot of the error nr.1
nr.2
also where could i find reliability history?

sata SSD that i play warzone on

WHEA - Windows Hardware Error Architecture
error called by cpu but not necessarily caused by it
can be any hardware
can be caused by heat - yours doesn't look that hot, also bsod doesn't occur in benchmarking
can be caused by overclocking so remove any you have
can be caused by overclocking software so things remove like MSI Afterburner, Intel extreme tuning utility
can be fix by updating BIOS on motherboard - no idea which one you on - https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z690 Pro RS/index.asp#BIOS
can be drivers but hard to tell without dumps

Try running this on CPU - https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/15951/19792/intel-processor-diagnostic-tool.html?

were you getting errors with the old ram?

could be drive only as we not getting dumps. Hard to write any to the drive if its crashed.
try running this on it, it has tests - https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/adata_ssd_toolbox.html

old ram were even worse and they were actually faulty, i was getting crashing from left & right.
okay, can i reply to you tomorrow and tell you all the results?
cause i don't have all day today :/
also cpu was fully stock, but i know use it at 4.5Ghz P cores and 3 Ghz E cores cuz it just crashes less that way :/

its your problem, take as much time as you like.
I might not be here much tomorrow, weather might get in my way.

try updating bios, sounds like it is flaky
bios are most recent for my motherboard 11.02 or whatever the most recent version is
also as you say "its your problem" its my problem almos for three months now 😀

Cooler Master 600 v2 << is that an MWE 600 Bronze?

I can't say I seen a screen look like that before

any of those benchmarks test graphics? there really aren't many tests for GPU, you can run Heaven just to see if it crashes in it.
if its crashing in games and looks like that, it could be the GPU

I can't find my original psu site with correct psu specs but i know that its the most basic 600w cooler master psu without any sertifications. It worked before without any issues on my z87 | i7-4790k build.
And yes it crashes during high gpu load
I think so, cause also when i make gpu power limit through msi afterburner it crashes way less. So idk :/

how old is the PSU?

if its from an old PC, and over 5 years old

I would suggest replacing it, might be cause of some of the problems. I expect new PC needs more power. Could explain the graphics problem. Might explain no dumps as well.

I wouldn't use an old PSU in a new system.

Yeah, its kinda old but i thought i would be ok for my build until i upgrade gpu and buy a better psu with it :d

So i guess i should try buying a better psu and then testing the system again :d

I would get at least a Gold rated one from Corsair so that you have a solid foundation for all the other parts. It fuels them all, so can affect them all. Good chance that new CPU needs more than a 4690k did. Might not need to limit the GPU as much.

AS they get older they can become less reliable. They can start breaking other parts.

yikes, aight.
good to know. when i get new psu and if its solved i will mark this thread as solved, thanks for all you've done.

i went from buying a case that came with any old PSU to almost making PSU 1st thing I chose in this PC. I have had one go bang, it took my gpu and windows with it. Better to have a good one than for the cheap one to kill parts and cost you more in the long run.
