Question Buzzing / hissing noise while playing - Gaming Laptop

My Legion Pro 5 Gen 8 has been making this buzzing / hissing noise lately. I don't know how to describe it, something electrical maybe, or from a fan, idk. When I try to listen closely over the keyboard, it seems to be coming more from the right side of the laptop.

As far as I can tell, it only comes when playing games (was playing HL2 the other day, not that demanding), and as soon as I AltTab to desktop it goes away, and then AltTab back to the game and it comes back again.

I've had this laptop for a year and I'm freaking out, what is it, what can I do?

From your description it's nothing more than the fan ramping up/down to handle the heat load. Perfectly normal (and intended) behavior.
