Hi,

I have this GPU:
ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 Super ROG Strix

It has 2x DP ports and 2x HDMI ports

I'm thinking about buying 2 new monitors that both have DP.

Can I somehow "add" another DP port to my graphics card, so that I can run 144hz across all monitors?

Thank you in advance

Solution
What resolution? HDMI 2.0 from the GPU should handle 144Hz @2560x1440. Just make sure the monitors you get do DP and HDMI 2.0. Plus that they support 144Hz over either connection.

It's way cheaper and easier to do DP to HDMI 2.0 than HDMI 2.0 to DP. I'm gueesing with the cost of HDMI to DP converters. That whatever conversion they do will add latency. I think getting monitors which can do both connections is the best option.

I'm thinking 144hz @ 1920x1080. Can you recommend monitors at a fair price, that meet these expectations?

From what I can find. The Acer VG270Y or VG240Y should do both.

I highly recommend using a triple monitor stand. It helps clean up the desk. Clears up a bunch of available space. Lets you line things up.
