Question Have to set time again everytime I boot Windows 10

Whenever I shut down PC, if I start it again in under 15/30 minutes the time is as it should be ,but if I start after an hour or more,time shown is when I shut it down before. There is another problem which is that if i boot again after shutdown in under 15/30 minutes, it will start up fine,but if done after more time I will be taken to BIOS and boot from drive from there.Are these problems related?

Any suggestions?

Maybe the motherboard battery died.

Replace the CMOS battery on your motherboard, that should alleviate the issue. If it yet persists with a fresh cell, you will need to turn your attention to the wall outlet or your PSU.
